Link Roundup – Money & Travel Edition
Since I pretty much suck at getting these finished each week, I am going to change the title from “Links of the Week” to “Link Roundup.” That way, I get to slack off more. Yay! And because you are extra lucky, this first roundup even has a theme: money and traveling. (Did I mention I’m half-Jewish?)
A great infographic answering my burning question: how much does it cost to travel the world for one year? (Roll Global)
Or, even better, travel the world for free. (The Travel Dudes)
I LOVE this idea to donate to the microlender Kiva to earning frequent flyer miles. Who wouldn’t want to earn miles and points AND save the world? (Mommy Points)
Free and flexible volunteering abroad? Count me in. (Vagablogging)
As I’m always saying, TAKE ADVANTAGE of frequent flyer miles. See, I’m not the only one! (Brooke vs. The World)
I don't know why this picture exists, but I'm glad it does. Thanks, http://www.flickr.com/photos/75001512@N00
Tokyo, Paris, you hurt my heart. Why oh why do you have to be so expensive? And the rest of the top 10 most expensive cities in the world. (Luxuo)
Woohoo! Political science isn’t doing too badly (for once) on this list of the best college majors for steady work and high earnings. (Learnvest)
Screw law school, traveling is the best education there is. (Everything Everywhere)

My lofty life goals include raising a gaggle of happy chickens, taking the perfect jumpy pic on every continent, and making YOU realize you don't need to work a boring 9-5 and then travel the world. Use seasonal adventure jobs to travel NOW. What are you waiting for?

Volunteering sounds like a cool idea. Ah man, then I would have to do work for free
Haha, YUP. But, you’d be making the world a better place, so mayyyybe worth it!
I like the idea of a theme for your roundup, great first
Thanks, John. Even if I don’t do a theme each time, at least I don’t have to feel bad about not doing one every week now!
