MICHIGAN WON THE SUGAR BOWL. ALL THANKS TO ME. Well, not me, specifically, but “brunette girls” in general. He meant me, I’m pretty sure. Go blue!

The New York Times lists the 45 Places To Go In 2012. I always look forward to this list. I’ve been to Nosara, Costa Rica, and South Korea in the past year, and I’ll be going to Jordan and Tokyo this year. Yay!

I loved this piece from The Planet D about how to find free accommodation around the world. House sitting sounds so magical… though I always wonder who would let ME sit their HOUSE? Do I look that responsible?

The Everywhereist is easily my favorite blog. I am pretty much in love with her. If you can write a funny AND heartfelt post about an evil lady at a lego store, then you’ve got skillz. Mad skillz.

Here are some free, easy peasy, points for frequent flyer program sign-ups from New Girl In The Air.

In case you need even more inspiration to get your butt in gear for 2012, here’s Nomadic Matt‘s post about how it’s never the perfect time to travel.

  1. Aw, sweet! Thanks for the link-love! Does this mean I can also share credit in the Sugar Bowl win? :)

  2. Thanks for those link shares! I just checked out the Everywhereist…great blog that I didn’t know about! :)

    • Yes, the Everywhereist is amazing. I’m sure you’ll really enjoy her blog. Now that I’m back in civilization, I’m gathering up some links and should be posting another round-up soon. Thanks for stopping by!
