PHOTO: Underwater View of Sky
While getting my advanced SCUBA certification in the Philippines, one of my “fun dives” was underwater photography. This is a photo of some plants (seaweed? I have no clue) and the sky from a very low depth. Beautiful, eh?

There is something very calming about this photo – it has such a beautiful stillness to it. We have just decided to go the Philippines next April to visit some friends and have been toying with the idea of getting PADI qualified there too – the original plan was to do this in Thailand. I’d love to know where you went and what you though of it

Thanks, Hannah! I did my advanced PADI course on Malapascua Island in the Philippines. I really enjoyed it, but I’ve heard that Thailand is awesome, too! I think that no matter where you do it, you will love it. I’d just try to find a dive school that is affordable and that has instructors you feel comfortable with.
