The Misty Fjords Are Humpworthy
I just spent four unbelievable days kayaking in the Misty Fjords National Monument, which is about a two hour boat ride from Ketchikan, Alaska.
It is SO humpworthy, and I can’t wait to share more stories and photos with you.
We saw a brown bear, a black bear, a mountain goat, seals, eagles, Dall’s Porpoises, and even a wolf paw print! YES!
I am getting nicely settled into life here in Ketchikan, and I will be writing more once I get the internet at my house. In the meanwhile, get your butt to Alaska. It is amazing!
Humpworthy Hump Day is a weekly feature where I share something that is, in figurative terms, worthy of a hump. Sweet, right?

My lofty life goals include raising a gaggle of happy chickens, taking the perfect jumpy pic on every continent, and making YOU realize you don't need to work a boring 9-5 and then travel the world. Use seasonal adventure jobs to travel NOW. What are you waiting for?

Dude, woah. Excellent view.
Also, settled in? You’re living in Alaska now?
Yup! I am here for the summer working for the same kayaking company. I’m definitely looking forward to it.
We LOVED Misty Fjords – very pretty. We were on a small adventure ship that took us all through the inside passage.
Awesome! It really is one of my favorite places on earth.
