Travel, Etc. Links of the Week – 11/9/12

I’m typing this in the Cleveland airport. Despite the fact it’s in Ohio, I appreciate their free wifi. I’m en route to LAX and will be spending the next two weeks in SoCal. WOOT!

Here are some sweet links for you to enjoy this weekend:

If, like me, you want to become location independent and live in some exotic country while supporting yourself online (pina coladas NOT optional), you might enjoy this list from Thrilling Heroics: 6 countries you should move to as a digital nomad (and their cost of living).

Bethany from Beers and Beans takes such great pictures. Loved her photos of Amsterdam’s red light district.

Ever since that lady on The Real Housewives of NYC said she was a “connector,” I’ve wanted to be able to say the same thing. It’s sounds so glamorous! Maybe my dream will come true if I learn these 31 habits of the world’s best connectors, via Live Your Legend.

I LOVE Jenny Blake. She’s a total inspiration, and if you haven’t heard of her, it’s time. She’s offering a FREE “one-week course that will help you reflect and start gathering fuel — ideas, dreams and goals — for the new year.” Um, hell yes!

———–

Who else is guilty of this?! Nomadic Samuel talks eating at McDonald’s and other terrible fast food restaurants while abroad. Is it pathetic I do this for a “taste of home?”

———–

I don’t know when I became so obsessed with productivity. I think I spend more time reading about being productive than actually being productive. Regardless, I really enjoyed this post from Nerd Fitness about how to become a productivity ninja.

Green Global Travel is one of the best travel blogs out there. So, when they list 10 blogging tips learned from their second year, I’m gonna listen!

Also, I’ve got a guest post up on Waegook Tom about Korea’s hurry-hurry culture and my wish: Koreans, take a deep breath, please! I worked hard on this piece — so please go and read it!

Welcome to my link roundup, article whores! If you enjoyed this, and want to be really nice, then you should sign up for my newsletter in the upper right corner. You’re awesome.
